Owners, Mike & Kim Dennis
Bio of the owners, Mike & Kim Dennis
Mike and Kim Dennis have been married since 1983 and have two daughters who are grown and working in the Phoenix area. They moved to Arizona in1987 from the Kansas City area and are proud to call themselves “Zonies”!
Mike bought an existing small mirror door company called Monarch Mirror Co. and built it into a mid-size company named Marin Shower & Mirror Company after their two girls, Mary and Erin. In 2000, while still operating Marin Shower & Mirror Co., Mike bought Custom Marble Co., which is a cultured marble manufacturing company and Custom Stone Works evolved from there.
Mike and Kim are both former schoolteachers. Mike was a football coach, teacher and principal. Kim was an elementary school teacher. They both grew up in the mid-west; Mike in Missouri and Kim in Kansas.
If you know anything about the mid-west, then you know that Missouri & Kansas are like mixing oil & water. Somehow, Mike and Kim make it work and even manage businesses together.
Customer service has always been their strong suit and the reason why their other businesses have been successful. Their personal philosophy in life is to treat people how they, themselves, would want to be treated. Personal integrity is the cornerstone of their business philosophy. They have passed this principle on to their employees, and as a result, much of their business is generated by referrals from satisfied customers. Customers, who recognize that CSW will deliver what they say they will deliver, and then some!
Custom Stone Works Staff
Chuck Sliskovic has been involved in the stone industry for 21 years. He has experience in all phases of the business; fabrication, installation, sales and design. He likes to impress upon his clients the importance of taking their time in making decisions regarding their kitchens since it will be something they can enjoy for years to come. Chuck hales from Ohio and is a single dad raising 2 boys.
Paul Trego has 22 years in all phases of the construction industry, with the majority of this experience in the cabinet and countertop industry. Paul started working from the ground up in the labor side of things first and then eventually making his way to project management and sales. Paul comes from the Southeast and has lived in Phoenix for the past 7 years with his wife Amanda and their son, David.
